Bad Ass Motorcycles For Sale
Specification Sheet for our 2004 Harley-Davidson FXD Dyna Glide
SOLD
Year: 2004
Model: FXD Dyna Glide
Builder: Bad Ass Productions/Harley-Davidson
Frame: Harley-Davidson, modified by Bad Ass Productions for an additional ten degrees of front-end rake (38 degrees total). Rear shock mounts were relocated, all additions were heli-arc welded, and no bondo or filler of any type was used anywhere on the frame. The frame was sandblasted down to bare metal, then powder coated gloss black after all modifications were performed.
Front End Suspension: Forks are Harley-Davidson Softail Deuce, and the triple trees are Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide powder coated gloss black to match the rest of the bike. A Harley-Davidson Front Fork Support was used to give the forks additional structural integrity, and an adjustable steering dampener from Storz Performance was added for extra high-speed stability.
Rear Suspension: L&T Manufacturing air-over-hydraulic shocks were used on the rear. These shocks are charged with air and are fully adjustable for any ride preference or road condition. The shocks are chrome-plated and fitted with heim joints on both ends. A special hand pump that is manufactured by L&T especially for this shock application is included with the bike, as most service stations are not equipped with a compressor that is capable of the pressure required to charge these shocks.
Wheels: Performance Machine forged wheels, 19" front and 18" rear, both chrome-plated.
Tires: Avon Super Venom front and rear, 110/90x19 front, 180/55x18 rear, tubeless.
Brakes: Performance Machine 6-piston calipers used on both front and rear, and are chrome-plated. The brake rotors are also Performance Machine, and are full-floating 13" rotors with polished centers on both front and rear. All brake and hydraulic lines are black Kevlar.
Front Fender: Modified Softail Deuce fender, rivets removed and filled, reveal contoured.
Rear Fender: Hand-made from a sheet of steel, the fender was built from scratch from a piece of flat stock with the reveal added, then the reveal was carried over and matched on the electrical covers on both sides of the bike. The left side covers the circuit breakers and fuses, the ride side covers the battery. The license plate mount and wiring run were built into the inside of the fender. The seat mounting is a work of art: the seat is part of the fender, rather than being mounted on top of the seat as an afterthought. It is an integral part of the fender, and uses no mounting bolts to secure it, but an ingenius use of mounting pins that are not visible with the seat mounted. The seat is easily removable however, allowing instant access to the wiring.
Fuel Tank: The fuel tank was custom-built from scratch, and has a flush mount vented filler (no external vent tube necessary). The inside of the fuel tank has been sectioned out to allow clearance for the horn and ignition coil that are mounted on the backbone of the frame. The fuel tank is attached with hidden hardware that only requires activating a single latch (hidden by the seat) for removal.
Seat: Amtex Manufacturing
Handlebars: Flanders 35-degree pullback drag bars. All wiring has been run internally.
Transmission: Harley-Davidson 5-speed.
Clutch: AIM clutch and pressure plate, coupled with a Harley-Davidson hydraulic clutch assembly, fitted with a matching gloss-black Kevlar hydraulic line. Makes for an extremely easy clutch to operate that never gets out of adjustment.
Paint: Solid Gloss Black by Damon's Paint Creations -- Brea, CA
Powder Coating: Specialized Coatings, Huntington Beach, CA
Chrome Plating: Cal-Tron Plating, Santa Fe Springs, CA
Instrumentation: Harley-Davidson Speedometer/Tachometer combination with factory warning lights and indicator lights mounted in a custom panel incorporated into handlebar risers.
Engine:
- Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle complete 103" stroker kit, consisting of a billet crankshaft and H-beam rods, Screamin' Eagle HTCC cylinder heads and matching pistons with full floating pins.

- Screamin' Eagle Air Cleaner Assembly with aluminum billet cover, powder coated to match engine finish
- Screamin' Eagle SE-258 Camshafts and Pushrod Kit
- Screamin' Eagle Roller Rocker Arms
- Screamin' Eagle Ignition Program with built-in rev limiter

The engine was assembled by Bruce Fischer at Accu-True Enterprises in Costa Mesa, CA. The engine was designed for street performance, and uses standard unleaded pump gas without the need for any additives. The engine starts easily, and other than having a pretty agressive idle runs as smoothly as a stock engine, but has more than enough horsepower to hold its own. The only parts on the driveline that are not chrome plated are the engine cases, cylinder heads and barrels, carburetor and intake manifold, and the transmission case.
Price: $20,000.00 US
Side Note: This bike was purchased brand-new at Harley-Davidson of Westminster and had zero miles on it when it was disassembled for modification. This bike can be ridden anywhere with absolute confidence, and unlike some of the "clone" bikes that are currently on the market, holds no unpleasant surprises mechanically. Additionally, there are no problems with insurance coverage or registration since this is a real Harley-Davidson and has all the necessary street equipment needed to be legal in any state. The fit and finish of the bike are absolutely flawless and show-quality. It really needs to be seen first-hand to appreciate the effort that has been put into it. It could not be duplicated for double the asking price.
The electrical system in this bike uses all Harley-Davidson components and wiring codes, so all its systems can be serviced by any qualified Harley-Davidson dealer or independent mechanic.
A Harley-Davidson storage cover goes with this bike at the time of sale, and a Kendon single-bike trailer with storage cover is available at extra cost if desired. The vehicle has a clear California title and is available for immediate delivery. We can assist with shipping and will arrange for crating and pickup if necessary, also at additional cost.
